About SheJumps

SheJumps is a national nonprofit with a mission to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities. With an annual operating budget of $1.2 million, we create safe and encouraging environments for women and girls of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities to access transformative outdoor experiences.

Our programs and events build confidence, leadership, connection, and belonging in the outdoors. SheJumps' work is powered by a dedicated volunteer network, a passionate staff team, and a board committed to equity, outdoor access, and long-term organizational sustainability. Our community is richly blended — the same person may be a program participant, a volunteer, a scholarship recipient, and a donor.

Position Overview

Successful fundraising and communications work hand in hand, and their strategies have to co-exist. The Director of Development & Communications is SheJumps' senior leader for both: responsible for growing philanthropic revenue and ensuring that how we tell our story directly serves that goal.

This is a role of dual ownership of development and communication strategy.
Reports to: Board of Directors (via Board President)

Salary: $160,000-$175,000

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, wellness plan, EAP, PTO, retirement

Hours: Full-time, Exempt, 40 hours, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend or evening work

Location: Vancouver, WA

About Share

Share believes every person counts. For more than 46 years, Share has been a cornerstone of Clark County's response to homelessness and hunger, working to make our community home for everyone. Share pursues a stronger community by building relationships, advocating for equitable access to housing and food stability, and empowering individuals and families to grow and thrive.

Share provides a spectrum of services including emergency and transitional shelter for individuals and families, permanent supportive housing, rental assistance with case management, street outreach, community cleaning initiatives, job skills training, and a comprehensive range of nutrition programs including hot meals, backpack and fresh food pantries, mobile pantry, and summer meals for children. Share's programs serve thousands of Clark County residents each year across multiple sites, staffed by a team of about 120 employees with an annual budget of approximately $10 to $15 million.

Share envisions a community without hunger, where all people have safe and adequate housing and the skills to enhance their quality of life. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to how Share serves the community and how the organization operates internally.

Organizational Context

Share is in a moment of growth and opportunity. Over the past several years, the organization has expanded significantly in the scale and complexity of its programs, staff, and its reach across Clark County. That growth reflects the community's confidence in Share and the dedication of its staff, and it has positioned the organization to deepen its impact in the years ahead.

And the environment in which Share operates has never been more demanding. Shifts in funding, evolving government priorities, economic pressures, and growing community needs require organizations like Share, to have stronger internal systems, sharper prioritization, and more disciplined resource stewardship. The next CEO will join Share at a moment when operational excellence and adaptive leadership are not just organizational goals but community imperatives.

The CEO ensures that expanded capacity is matched by the operational systems, leadership infrastructure, and the skilled and supportive team needed to deliver high-quality services consistently and sustainably.

Share's Board of Directors is engaged and committed, with a strong focus on strategic stewardship and long-term organizational sustainability. The staff leadership team brings programmatic expertise and commitment to the mission.

About You

You are a seasoned nonprofit executive who leads with intention and brings a systems-level perspective. You build and develop strong leaders, right-size roles and workloads, and establish decision-making and communication processes that support alignment across a large and diverse team. This role requires an executive who can build strong senior leadership teams, develop and sustain management infrastructure, ensure clear and consistent communication across the organization, and serve as a trusted presence for staff, the Board, funders, and the broader Clark County community.

Share has a Director of Philanthropy and a full development team in place. While the CEO maintains ultimate accountability for the organization's financial health, the day-to-day leadership of fundraising and development is carried out by that team. The CEO's primary focus is on the internal systems, leadership capacity, and organizational health that make sustained and high-quality service delivery possible. As a Preschool for All partner, Childswork is part of Multnomah County's commitment to providing free, culturally responsive, and inclusive early learning to every family who wants it. With a growing team of faculty and administrative staff, Childswork is at an exciting and consequential moment in its development.

Our people make this work possible. When our staff feel supported, heard, and valued, that energy flows directly into the classrooms and into the lives of the children and families we serve. We are building the internal infrastructure to match our ambitions, and the Director of People, Culture and Equity is central to that work.

About You

You lead with empathy and believe every employee deserves to feel valued and heard, and you understand that this shows up in the details, including the accuracy of a paycheck and the clarity of a benefits explanation. You are a skilled listener who follows through, and people trust you because you do what you say you will. You bring warmth, discreetness, and professionalism to every interaction, whether navigating a sensitive conversation or walking someone through an open enrollment decision. You understand that working in an early childhood environment calls for patience, care, and the ability to hold professional boundaries with genuine intention. You are organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities across multiple sites without losing sight of the people behind the paperwork.

You are also approachable and decisive. City: Corvallis
Location: 100% On-site

 Type of Position: Full-Time

 Primary Job Function: Executive Leadership

Executive Director

About CARDV

For more than four decades, the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) has stood as a trusted refuge and resource for survivors in Linn and Benton counties. Founded on the belief that every person deserves to live free from violence, CARDV has grown from a grassroots response to crisis into a comprehensive, survivor-centered organization with deep roots across the communities it serves.
Based in Corvallis and serving Linn and Benton counties, CARDV provides a continuum of services that meet survivors wherever they are. Those services include a 24-hour crisis and support line, confidential shelter, crisis response, legal advocacy, support groups, live chat, and robust community education programming.
CARDV’s mission is twofold: to provide direct services and support to those affected by sexual and domestic violence, and to lead education and advocacy efforts that address the societal conditions which allow these forms of violence to persist. This dual commitment—to individual healing and to systemic change—distinguishes CARDV as both a service provider and a catalyst for community transformation.

CARDV’s work is grounded in a clear set of organizational values—respect, inclusion, leadership, support, trust, growth, and responsiveness—and its Principles of Unity reflect an unwavering commitment to survivor autonomy, anti-oppression, and community-wide change. CARDV recognizes that domestic and sexual violence are rooted in inequity and that lasting change requires engaging the whole community: survivors, families, institutions, and allies alike.

Learn more about CARDV at https://cardv.org/.

The Opportunity

The Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) seeks a values-driven, strategic, and compassionate leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This is a meaningful opportunity to lead a well-known, community-embedded organization at an important moment in its history—and to shape the next chapter of CARDV’s impact across Linn and Benton counties.

CARDV has stood alongside survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault for more than 40 years, offering safety, healing, and advocacy while also working to shift the cultural and systemic conditions that allow violence to persist.
