POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Alumni Engagement Manager
Status: Full-time, exempt, at-will employee, non-AmeriCorps
Reports to: Director of Development
Salary Range: $55,000-60,000
Position Summary
The Alumni Engagement Manager leads strategic efforts to deepen relationships between Former Jesuit Volunteers (FJVs) and Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) Northwest. This role cultivates a vibrant, multi-generational alumni network that contributes to the mission through community-building, storytelling, philanthropy, and recruitment. Acting as a connector between alumni and prospective JVs, the manager supports recruitment initiatives in collaboration with the Recruitment & Engagement team. They oversee alumni programming, supervise volunteer roles, and work cross-departmentally to align engagement with organizational goals. Approximately 60% of this role supports development-related initiatives, while 40% supports recruitment and engagement efforts, including communications. This is a full-time (40-hour/week) position, with hours arranged in consultation with the Director of Development.
This position is remote and can be based anywhere, with a preference for candidates located in the Pacific Northwest. JVC Northwest is a faith-based organization rooted in the core values of community, simple living, social and ecological justice, and spirituality.
