About the Oregon Medical Education Foundation
The mission of OMEF is to make Oregon the premier state to study and practice medicine through scholarships, grants, and wrap-around programs for MD, DO, and PA students.
The Opportunity
In this role as chief fundraiser, you will work with the Executive Director and Board to identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and successfully steward current and prospective donors to expand their financial support of our mission. Your portfolio will include cultivation and stewardship of individual, corporate, and foundation partner relationships.
Qualifications
- Three to five years’ experience developing and executing successful fundraising strategies Securing gifts of five-and six-figure gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors is required
- Experience in or familiarity with medical education, medical- or healthcare-related fields
- A growth mindset, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a positive attitude
- A strong work ethic, high integrity, and a donor-service focus
- Strong desire to help donors develop and fulfill their philanthropic goals
- Proficiency in MS Office and donor CRM tools is required. Familiarity with design tools experience is desired
