Come join Samaritan as a Senior Development Specialist.
In this position you will be responsible for development efforts in annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and entry level major gifts. The position partners with the Foundation director at assigned site(s) and with Samaritan Foundations central office to cultivate, solicit and steward gifts for the assigned foundation(s) and associated hospitals and clinics. The Senior Development Specialist cultivates, solicits and stewards gifts in support of system-wide initiatives and facilities and participates in foundation activities and special events.
This position is primarily onsite with regular onsite time in Lebanon, Albany and Corvallis to support the 3 valley foundations.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree and/or CFRE preferred.
- Five (5) years professional experience in development, fundraising or a related area required.
- Experience or training in Microsoft Office applications required.
- Experience or training with donor databases such as Raisers Edge preferred.
- Experience in volunteer engagement and management preferred.
