Description & Details
Join our team of affordable housing consultants!
Housing Development Center (HDC) is a nonprofit consulting group focused on the affordable housing space. Working in communities across Oregon and southwest Washington, we provide capacity and expertise in the areas of affordable housing and facilities development, asset management, policy and industry support, and community development financing.
HDC is seeking a mid-level or senior-level finance project manager to join our development team. The person hired for this role will support nonprofit housing and service providers and housing authorities (HDC’s clients) to develop and preserve affordable housing and community facilities serving working families, seniors, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable populations.
The ideal candidate for the senior-level position will have the capability and qualifications to support our clients’ internal teams to build affordable housing development capacity and to mentor HDC’s junior finance project management staff. Job title, responsibilities, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Though HDC's staff currently work mostly from home, our organization is preparing to transition to a hybrid work environment within a year. The person hired for this position must reside in Oregon or Washington and will be required to attend some in-person meetings and events.
