Purpose:
The Development Director leads New Narrative’s private fundraising strategy, building relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, sponsors, and foundations to grow philanthropic support for our mission. This hands-on role oversees donor cultivation and solicitation, annual giving, sponsorships, fundraising events, and the development of a strong prospect pipeline.
As the leader of the Development Department, the Director supervises the Communications & Engagement Coordinator and Development Assistant and works closely with organizational leaders, program teams, Quality & Impact, Finance, grant writers, communications consultants, and community partners.
We’re looking for a proactive relationship-builder who is comfortable making financial asks, brings strong organization, judgment, and follow-through, and uses technology and emerging tools thoughtfully to work effectively.
